​Is Occupational Therapy funded by the NDIS?
Yes. Occupational Therapy is commonly funded through NDIS Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living. Funding may also be used for assessments, skill development, and recommendations aligned with a participant’s NDIS goals. We support self-managed and plan-managed participants.
Who can access Occupational Therapy services?
Occupational Therapy supports children, teenagers, and adults whose disability, injury, or health condition impacts everyday activities, independence, or participation. Services are tailored to individual goals and needs.
Do you provide Occupational Therapy services in the South West of WA?
Yes. We provide Occupational Therapy services across the South West of Western Australia, with support available in clinic, at home, in schools, and in community settings, depending on individual needs.
Do I need a referral to see an Occupational Therapist?
No referral is required for privately funded or NDIS-funded Occupational Therapy services. A referral may be required for some other funding pathways.
Working With Allied Health Assistants (AHA)

What is an Allied Health Assistant?
An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) is a trained support professional who works under the delegation and supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist. AHAs assist with therapy programs designed by the OT to help clients practise and build skills.

Is AHA support funded by the NDIS?
Yes. Allied Health Assistant supports may be funded through NDIS Capacity Building when they are part of an Occupational Therapy program and delivered under appropriate supervision.
